WSU Extension and the Washington Stormwater Center have recently developed peer reviewed guidance tools and provided training to agency staff to improve rural stormwater management.
Guidance materials, including web based fact sheets and short videos, were developed for a range of rural surface water management situations and the strategy options available to address them. These materials are available on the website https://ruralstormwater.wsu.edu/.
Demonstration sites have been developed for strategy implementation in priority locations with partner organizations and landowners.
This poster will provide a brief overview of the materials developed and handouts will be available, including handy business cards with the website listed on it.
